Maintain Your Blood Glucose Meter Daily for Stable & Durable Performance

Edit date:2026-05-08

Proper daily maintenance of the HAINICE blood glucose meter is essential to ensure accurate and stable measurements and extend the service life of the device. By following simple scientific care routines in three key aspects — cleaning, proper storage, and correct usage — you can keep the meter in optimal condition long-term and enjoy reliable blood glucose monitoring at home.

1. Cleaning & Gentle Care

Keep the exterior of your HAINICE blood glucose meter clean at all times. When needed, gently wipe the surface with a dry, soft lint-free cloth to remove dust, and avoid allowing any liquid to seep into the device interior.

Note: Do not rinse the meter directly with water. It is also not recommended to wipe the body with alcohol or any chemical cleaners, as these may corrode and damage internal precision electronic components and affect normal operation.

2. Standard Storage — Constant Temperature & Moisture Prevention

Store the blood glucose meter and matched test strips in a dry, well-ventilated, cool and shaded place, away from prolonged direct sunlight.

The suitable operating temperature ranges from 10℃ to 40℃.

Do not place the device in humid areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, nor near heating equipment or open flames. Avoid environments below 10℃, and keep the meter away from strong electromagnetic interference devices such as mobile phones and microwave ovens, to minimize external impact on its performance.

3. Correct Usage & Careful Protection

Handle the meter with care during daily use. Avoid impact, dropping or strong vibration, which may damage internal precision components.

During testing, ensure the blood sample is sufficient to fully cover the absorption area of the test strip. Do not touch or contaminate the sensor area of the strip with fingers or other objects, as this may affect test accuracy.

Always use original, within-expiry test strips. Avoid using incompatible or expired strips. Following official usage specifications helps deliver a stable and reliable blood glucose monitoring experience.
